Tom Armstrong-Leavitt has over 25 years of experience in music education. A graduate of G.I.T.(1986) and a professional performer and session player, working with the likes of Davey Johnstone (Elton John), Jeff Watson (Nightranger), and Devin Townsend (Strapping Young Lad/ Steve Vai) just to name a few. As a student he has studied with Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), Frank Gambale (Chick Korea), and Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson), plus many others. Tom has recorded in some of Hollywoods best studios and performed in several showcases for some of the industries top executives. After coaching for nine years in Skip's Stairway to Stardom program, he also served as the director of this award-winning summer music school for 8 years. Tommy is also the author of the Strong Arm Instructional Series (Chord Camp 1-3, Finger Fitness1-2), used at many area high schools as well as Sacramento City and American River Colleges.
